Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods
- Capability to lift and move up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently including overhead lifting
- Visual acuity sufficient for reading, computer use, and inspection of small parts
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Availability to work part-time hours as scheduled
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
- Ability to perform cashier duties with accuracy
- Strong customer service skills including communication and compassion
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to support multiple store departments
- Willingness to assist pharmacy personnel and learn new services
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions
- Focusing on the customer with warm greetings, maintaining eye contact, and assisting with locating items
- Accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and managing inventory tasks
- Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed
- Providing support to all departments such as photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational
- Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development
- Embracing and advocating for CVS services and loyalty programs to support customer health paths
