Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Ability to lift and exert up to 35 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently including overhead lifting
- Visual acuity to perform activities involving computer use, reading, and visual inspection of small details
- Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week on a part-time basis
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Ability to provide excellent customer service with compassion and care
- Basic arithmetic skills for cashier duties
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to support various store departments including pharmacy
Job Duties
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions
- Give warm and friendly greetings, maintain eye contact, and offer help locating additional items
- Accurately perform cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies
- Maintain sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed
- Provide customer support to all departments including photo and beauty ensuring full stock and operational readiness
- Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working shifts in the pharmacy as opportunities for growth
- Advocate for CVS services and loyalty programs that support better health
