Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to remain upright on feet particularly for sustained periods
- ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
- close visual acuity to perform tasks such as viewing computer terminals and reading small details
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- ability to work as part of a team and independently
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- basic math and cash handling skills
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care
- focusing on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items
- accurately performing cashier duties, including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and inventory management
- supporting opening and closing store activities when needed
- providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational
- assisting pharmacy personnel including working regular shifts as opportunities for growth
- embracing and advocating new CVS services and loyalty programs
