Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to remain upright for sustained periods
- ability to lift and exert up to 35 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently
- close visual acuity to perform tasks including reading and visual inspection
- willingness to work part-time approximately 29 hours per week
- ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems following company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service setting preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- familiarity with retail operations and inventory management
- comfort with supporting multiple departments and adapting to evolving services and programs
Job Duties
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care
- greet customers warmly and assist with locating items
- perform cashier duties accurately handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- maintain sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory management tasks
- support opening and closing store activities
- provide customer support to all departments including photo and beauty, ensuring full stock and operational status
- assist pharmacy personnel when needed and work pharmacy shifts as opportunities for growth
- advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the company’s health mission
