Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently, including overhead lifting
- Good visual acuity to perform detailed tasks such as reading and computer use
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Ability to perform cashier duties accurately
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to assist in various store departments and activities
- Commitment to upholding CVS Health’s standards of safety and quality
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care
- Giving a warm and friendly greeting and assisting customers in locating items
- Accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and managing inventory
- Supporting opening and closing store activities
- Providing customer support to various departments such as photo and beauty
- Assisting pharmacy personnel during shifts and participating in career development opportunities
- Advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
