Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
- having close visual acuity for tasks like reading and visual inspections
- able to work part-time with anticipated 25 hours per week
- willingness to support flexible work schedules as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
- ability to perform cashier duties with accuracy
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- willingness to assist various departments including pharmacy
- ability to advocate for and promote company programs and services
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care
- focusing on the customer by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering assistance locating items
- accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit cards according to company policies
- maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and managing inventory tasks
- supporting store opening and closing activities as needed
- providing customer support across all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational
- assisting pharmacy personnel when needed and working shifts in the pharmacy as opportunities arise
- embracing and advocating for CVS services and loyalty programs to support customer health
- maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards in every task performed
