Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- ability to lift and exert up to 35 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently
- close visual acuity to perform tasks requiring detail
- willingness to assist in various departments including pharmacy
- physical stamina to support store activities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in retail or customer service setting
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion
- giving a warm and friendly greeting while helping locate items
- accurately performing cashier duties handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- maintaining the sales floor through restocking, vendor check-in, pricing updates, and inventory management
- supporting opening and closing store activities
- providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty
- assisting pharmacy personnel including working shifts in the pharmacy
- embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
