Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently
- Close visual acuity to perform detailed activities
- Availability for specified shifts including Monday, Wednesday, Friday evenings and Sundays
- Must be able to work every other weekend
- Flexibility to support opening and closing store activities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for cashier duties
Job Duties
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving service issues
- Give a warm and friendly greeting and assist customers in locating items
- Accurately perform cashier duties handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing
- Support opening and closing store activities
- Provide customer support to all departments ensuring they are stocked and operational
- Assist pharmacy personnel including working regular shifts as opportunities for growth
- Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs
