Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
- Adequate visual acuity to perform detailed tasks such as reading and inspecting small parts
- Willingness to work part-time, typically about 27 hours per week
- Availability to support various store activities including opening and closing
- Compliance with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate and customer-focused service
- Familiarity with retail operations and inventory management is beneficial
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving service issues
- Greeting customers warmly and offering assistance in locating products
- Accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Maintaining sales floor by restocking shelves, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks
- Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed
- Providing customer support across departments including photo and beauty
- Assisting pharmacy personnel and working shifts in the pharmacy for career growth opportunities
- Advocating for and promoting new CVS services and loyalty programs
