Job Requirements

At least 16 years of age
Ability to remain upright and on feet for sustained periods
Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently and negligible force regularly
Visual acuity to perform close inspection tasks such as computer work and reading
Availability to work part-time hours (typically 20 hours per week)

Job Qualifications

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and customer focus
Familiarity with basic retail operations and cashiering
Willingness to support pharmacy personnel and learn new services
Demonstrated compassion and care in customer interactions

Job Duties

Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care
Giving warm and friendly greetings while maintaining eye contact and offering assistance
Performing cashier duties accurately handling cash, checks and credit card transactions
Maintaining sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating pricing and managing inventory
Supporting opening and closing store activities
Providing customer support across departments including photo and beauty, ensuring full stocking and operational readiness
Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed and working regular shifts for career growth
Advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs to help customers on their health journey
