Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to remain on feet for sustained periods
- capable of lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
- close visual acuity for tasks such as reading and using computer terminals
- availability to work part-time hours
- physical ability to perform various retail duties
- reliable and punctual
- willingness to support different store functions and shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic math and cash handling skills
- commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and technologies
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care
- giving a warm and friendly greeting while maintaining eye contact and offering help locating items
- accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and managing inventory
- supporting opening and closing store activities
- providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- assisting pharmacy personnel and working shifts in pharmacy for growth opportunities
- embracing and advocating for CVS services and loyalty programs
