Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently
- Visual acuity necessary for detailed tasks
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Ability to provide compassionate and customer-focused service
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures accurately
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service
- Basic math skills for cashier responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Willingness to learn pharmacy operations for career advancement
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion
- Offering a warm and friendly greeting while assisting customers in locating products
- Accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, pricing products, and inventory management
- Supporting opening and closing activities of the store
- Assisting customer support in departments including photo and beauty ensuring operational readiness
- Assisting pharmacy personnel and participating in pharmacy shifts as opportunities for growth
- Promoting and advocating new CVS services and loyalty programs
