Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous retail or customer service experience beneficial
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- basic math skills for handling cash and pricing
- attention to detail for food safety and product presentation
- ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records in pharmacy
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Make a positive, friendly and lasting impression on customers as front end cashier or cart clerk
- slice, price, package and display baked goods while maintaining stock and rotation in bakery
- retrieve, count, pour and label medications, maintain records and complete paperwork in pharmacy technician role
- fulfill customer requests and prepare deli and carryout cafe products ensuring proper storage and rotation
- stock shelves, create and maintain product displays and organize backroom in general merchandise
- stock and organize grocery products, maintain displays and backroom
- stock, rotate, weigh, label and prepare meat products while assisting customers and answering questions
- ensure produce department is stocked, rotated, watered, and prepare specialty orders like fruit or vegetable platters
- stock, rotate, weigh, label and display seafood, fulfill customer requests and provide product information
