Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
- lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently including overhead lifting
- close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small details
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- adaptability to a fast-paced retail environment
- commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care
- giving a warm and friendly greeting while maintaining eye contact and helping locate additional items
- accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies
- maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing and completing inventory management tasks
- supporting opening and closing store activities when needed
- providing support to all departments including photo and beauty ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- assisting pharmacy personnel as needed and working shifts in the pharmacy as opportunities for growth
- embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs to support customer health
