Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
- Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
- Having close visual acuity to perform detailed tasks
- Being physically able to move objects including overhead lifting
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care
- Focusing on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting while maintaining eye contact and offering assistance
- Accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory tasks as directed
- Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed
- Providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed including working shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development
- Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
