Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently
- Good visual acuity for viewing computers, reading, and inspecting small parts
- Commitment to safety and following company policies
- Availability to work part-time hours averaging 29 per week
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Willingness to support multiple store departments and activities
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs
- Demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions
- Actively identifying and resolving potential service issues
- Greeting customers warmly and maintaining eye contact
- Offering help locating products when needed
- Performing cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, completing inventory management tasks
- Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed
- Providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty
- Assisting pharmacy personnel with regular shifts and career development opportunities
- Advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
