Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to remain standing for sustained periods
- ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
- visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading and visual inspection of small parts
- ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- availability to work part-time hours, typically 29 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- previous experience in retail or customer service setting preferred
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to handle cash and conduct transactions accurately
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- willingness to embrace new technologies and services
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving service issues
- greeting customers warmly and offering assistance locating products
- accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- maintaining sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating prices, and managing inventory
- supporting store opening and closing activities
- providing customer support across departments including photo and beauty
- assisting pharmacy personnel as needed and participating in pharmacy shifts
- advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
