Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods
- Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount regularly, including overhead lifting
- Visual acuity sufficient for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts and details
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to assist in pharmacy and other departments as needed
Job Duties
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues
- Focus on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items when needed
- Accurately perform cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager
- Support opening and closing store activities when needed
- Provide customer support to all departments including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational while staying updated with new services and tools
- Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as opportunities for growth and career development
- Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support helping people on their path to better health
