Job Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds for up to 30 minutes per shift
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 60 pounds
- Push or pull with arms up to 20 pounds force
- Bend at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour per shift
- Manual dexterity for grasping, reaching, and manipulating objects
- Availability for flexible shifts
- Commitment to regular onsite attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Supervisory or management experience beneficial
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff
- Knowledge of cash-handling and bookkeeping practices
- Ability to lead, teach, and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with food handling and safety guidelines
Job Duties
- Assist store manager with oversight of station store operations
- Hire, supervise, and work with staff to accomplish daily tasks
- Manage bookkeeping and merchandising activities
- Maintain high service standards and provide fast and friendly customer service
- Ensure regular and predictable onsite attendance
- Execute the food program to uphold quality and safety standards
- Display leadership qualities including urgency, patience, and effective communication
