Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- loss prevention experience required
- valid Driver's License
- ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, occasionally 55 lbs
- capability of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting with or without accommodation
- excellent reading comprehension
- excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- strong organizational and communication skills
- strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environment preferred

Job Duties
- Greet and help customers in a warm, approachable manner, maintaining a strong company image within the community
- assist the Store Manager in maintaining standards of safety and control, including tagging merchandise, assisting with the check in of DSD vendors, and reporting observations
- report any suspicious activity to the Store Manager, document observations of transactions and store activity and any incidents that occur
- conduct daily inspections, including audits of shrink reduction initiatives and safety standards
- partner with Store Manager to check in deliveries and monitor security systems
- monitor Fire and ADA safety requirements, and address EAS alarms while following company procedures
- ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
- protect and secure all company assets
- complete bag checks, including in-store returns, as directed
- participate in ongoing training and development to increase job knowledge and skills
- communicate feedback to the District Manager, Regional Asset Protection Manager, or Market Investigator
