Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in mathematics
- Strong communication skills
- Interest in animal care and welfare
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods

- Willingness to perform various operational tasks

Job Duties
- Be responsible for the maintenance and inventory across the entire Pet Care Center
- Ensure merchandise is properly stocked, priced, and displayed to create a great presentation for guests
- Process register transactions in a way that creates a great experience for each guest
- Be proficient within the selling model and support guest interactions as needed
- Have a strong interest in animal welfare and support animal care procedures to maintain pet health
- Complete and apply training programs to maintain a high level of expertise in the role
- Promote a positive culture of teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration
- Adhere to established operational guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Complete other duties and special projects as assigned
- Evaluate guest inquiries and refer to the Leader on Duty as needed
- Utilize selling behaviors to provide an amazing guest experience
- Contribute to a safe environment by following safety protocols
- Be a part of a collaborative culture centered on pet health and wellness
- Engage in career development programs for skill growth
