Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or its equivalency
- Demonstrate proficiency in mathematics
- Exhibit strong communication skills
- Genuine interest in animal welfare and proper care
- Ability to interact effectively with the public, partners, and store leaders
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, move merchandise up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in areas of mathematics
- Above average communication skills
- Keen and genuine interest in animals and their care
- Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in basic accounting relationships
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Be responsible for the maintenance and inventory across the entire Pet Care Center
- Ensure merchandise is properly stocked, priced, and displayed to create a great presentation for our guests
- Process register transactions in a way that creates a great experience for each guest
- Be proficient within our selling model and support guest interactions as needed
- Have a strong interest in animal welfare and support animal care procedures to maintain pet health
- Complete and apply training programs to maintain a high level of expertise of their role
- Promote a positive culture of teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration
- Adhere to established operational guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Complete other duties and special projects as assigned
- Evaluate guest inquiries and refer to the Leader on Duty as needed
- Utilize selling behaviors to provide an amazing guest experience
- Contribute to a safe environment by following safety protocols
- Be a part of a collaborative culture centered around health and wellness of pets
- Engage in career development opportunities offered by the company
