Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent work experience
- ability to demonstrate proficiency in mathematics

- good interpersonal and verbal communication abilities
- willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
- ability to adhere to safety procedures and operational policies

Job Duties
- Maintain inventory and merchandising across the Pet Care Center
- stock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly priced and displayed
- process register transactions to create a great guest experience
- support guest interactions using the Petco sales model
- assist with animal welfare and care procedures
- complete training programs to maintain role expertise
- promote teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration
- adhere to operational guidelines, policies, and procedures
- evaluate guest inquiries and refer to leadership as needed
- complete other assigned duties and special projects
