Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- demonstrate proficiency in mathematics
- above average communication skills
- professional appearance and demeanor
- genuine interest in animals and their care
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- physical ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods
- willingness to follow safety procedures and operational policies

Job Duties
- Maintain inventory across the Pet Care Center
- stock shelves accurately with properly priced merchandise
- process transactions at the cash register providing excellent guest service
- support guest interactions using the Petco selling model
- promote animal welfare and assist with pet care procedures
- complete training programs to maintain expertise
- foster a positive culture of teamwork and inclusion
- adhere to operational guidelines and policies
- perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
- evaluate guest inquiries and refer to leadership when necessary
