Job Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects exceeding 50 pounds
- availability to work part-time and temporary shifts
- willingness to operate forklifts and other machinery after training
- compliance with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
- ability to work opening, morning, or overnight shifts as needed
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- basic literacy and numeracy skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in warehouse or stocking roles is an advantage
- ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts is preferred
- physical ability to lift and carry objects over 50 pounds
- basic understanding of inventory management and organization
- good communication and teamwork skills
- willingness to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Unload trucks with shipments of merchandise
- stock shelves and racks in appropriate departments
- operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely
- organize and maintain inventory in the backroom
- assist in cycle counts and inventory control procedures
- ensure all stocked items are correctly priced and labeled
- maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the stockroom
