Job Requirements
- Meet personal schedule requirements punctually
- Project a friendly, courteous and pleasant attitude
- Safely transport containers that weigh up to 50 lbs from the dish washing area to any stocking table
- Stand and/or walk for an entire shift
- Safely transport items to and from the kitchen on a slick and uneven surface
- Transport dishes, bus tubs and/or trays from the dish washing area to any bus station in the restaurant and vice versa
- Safely move about in all areas of the restaurant
Job Qualifications
- Prefer a minimum of 1-year full-service restaurant experience or the equivalent
- Must be willing and able to get along with co-workers
- Must provide a clean, well-manicured persona that reflects the established image of the restaurant
- Sufficiently master English to respond properly to questions and directions
- Must accept constructive criticism
- Must work a variable and flexible schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area to ensure safety
- Assist service team with coffee service
- Perform team service as instructed by team leader or manager
- Help to stock ice and water pitchers in the bus stations
- Carry and polish silverware and glassware from dish machine
- Stock bus stations and beverage stations with polished silver and glassware
- Stock beverage stations with iced tea
- Stock bus stations with share plates
- Perform more than one task at a time
- Complete all side work as assigned in a timely manner
- Properly change CO2 and soda dispensers
- Refrain from smoking for the duration of shift
- Perform calmly and effectively under pressure
- Communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
