Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a dishwasher or kitchen helper role is a plus but not required
  • Ability to operate commercial dishwashers and cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge of sanitary and safety procedures related to food service
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with fellow employees

Job Duties

  • Promote and act in a manner consistent with the mission of The Wildbirch Hotel
  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
  • Keep dishwasher clean and maintained, immediately report problems to Kitchen Manager
  • Monitor dishwasher water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
  • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
