Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen cleaning role preferred
  • Ability to operate commercial dishwashers and cleaning machinery
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices and health regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting and standing for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred
  • Ability to operate commercial dishwashers and kitchen cleaning equipment
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Physically able to handle repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Promote work and act in a manner consistent with the mission of The Wildbirch Hotel
  • Wash dishes glassware flatware pots or pans using dishwashers or by hand
  • Keep dishwasher clean and maintained and immediately report any functional or mechanical problems to the kitchen manager
  • Monitor dishwasher water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
  • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
  • Place clean dishes utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas
  • Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen
