Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • experience in relationship management, events, corporate engagement, or frontline fundraising
  • proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • ability to travel independently between Boston, Lowell, and Manchester sites
  • excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • strong organizational and project management skills
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • ability to work in a multicultural environment and appreciate diverse staff and clientele
  • lawful authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • reliable transportation
  • flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends
  • ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
  • ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • valid driver's license and occasional driving

Job Duties

  • Create and execute stewardship plans for sustainers and unassigned donors
  • steward the Sustainers group including acknowledgment and membership recognition
  • support researching unassigned donors and other prospects
  • support fundraising for the annual Ride for Refugees and Immigrants and other special events
  • gather event information and participate in event planning
  • conduct event research including venues, vendors, and speakers
  • prepare and manage event registration and communication
  • manage day-of event logistics and registration
  • conduct follow-up and outreach to event attendees
  • support planning and execution of Leadership Council meetings, World Refugee Day events, and other small-scale events
  • manage event logistics for house parties and follow up with donors
  • develop attendee profiles with MGO team
  • oversee logistical and hosting details for special events
  • update and create SOPs for Advancement department
  • support Grants team with event sponsorship applications
  • assist Advancement team with fundraising activities
  • perform other duties as assigned
