- minimum 1 year stewarding experience in similar volume restaurant or hotel
- weekend availability
- ability to work second shift hours

Job Qualifications

- some supervisory experience preferred

Job Duties

- maintain good relationships with other departments
- conduct daily stand-up meetings with stewarding staff
- oversee banquet stewarding issues and prepare action plans
- maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet facility
- set up and execute banquet stewarding functions
- check and maintain all equipment
- train staff on dish machine use and banquet procedures
- manage requisitioning and storage of chemical products
- coordinate scheduling with chefs
- maintain inventory and conduct quarterly inventories
- enforce health department sanitation requirements
- assign duties to employees
- uphold JW Marriott and AHC guidelines
- maintain logs and checklists
- make sound business decisions
- assist other areas as needed
