Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- previous stewarding experience of at least 1 year in a similar volume setting
- ability to work second shift hours including weekends
- strong team working skills
- ability to maintain calm and professional demeanor
- physical ability to stand and be on feet for up to 8 hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- good vision including close and peripheral vision
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- at least 1 year experience in stewarding in similar volume restaurant or hotel
- some supervisory experience preferred
- strong ability to multitask and problem solve
- ability to motivate team and maintain positive attitude
- knowledge of banquet facility organization
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- head team of stewards responsible for banquets and banquet facility cleanliness
- work in team environment and motivate associates to exceed guest expectations
- conduct daily stand-up meetings to discuss operations and resolve concerns
- oversee banquet stewarding functions including setup and execution
- check and maintain stewardship equipment cleanliness and functionality
- manage inventory and requisitioning of banquet supplies
- ensure compliance with health and safety sanitation standards
