Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum three years experience as assistant chief steward in hotels with similar standards
- Strong knowledge in chemicals and dishwashing machines
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English

Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the property including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquet areas
- Ensure food delivery to designated areas prior to function start times
- Fill equipment requisitions for banquet front of house staff
- Conduct training sessions for stewarding supervisors and stewards
- Maintain and properly use equipment and tools
- Conduct regular inventory of china, glass, silverware, and chemicals to ensure par levels
- Assist guests and employees with inquiries and needs
- Comply with state sanitation and health regulations
- Meet with executive chef to discuss kitchen equipment needs and operational changes
- Communicate effectively with management and service staff to address issues
- Create and update equipment pull sheets
- Maximize stewarding staff productivity and accountability
- Develop relationships with equipment vendors
- Monitor requisition processing and placement
- Support various hotel departments as needed
- Perform opening duties including inspection of tools and equipment, cleaning of kitchen equipment, checking production schedules, prioritizing daily tasks, and storage maintenance
- Minimize breakage of china and glass
- Ensure kitchen equipment maintenance and functionality
- Assist in daily cleaning and stewarding operations
- Conduct staffing activities including interviews and scheduling
- Adapt duties pending business needs
