Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two plus years’ stewardship experience in a luxury resort setting
  • Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of hospitality stewarding operations
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand primary workplace language
  • Strong communication skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • Basic computational ability
  • Budgetary analysis skills
  • Ability to physically stand and move for up to 6 hours
  • Capable of lifting 15-40 lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to maneuver between simultaneous functions
  • Ability to use office equipment with finger dexterity

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Two plus years’ experience in stewarding within a luxury resort
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Familiarity with Opera software preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the primary workplace language
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and manage subordinate staff including assigning duties and evaluating service
  • Capacity to prepare and analyze data generated by computer
  • Knowledge of hotel stewarding operations
  • Basic computational and computer skills
  • Ability to perform budgetary analysis
  • Understanding of housekeeping service techniques and cost controls such as manpower and productivity

Job Duties

  • Responsible for recruiting and interviewing staff
  • Responsible for weekly scheduling of staff
  • Manage all inventory and storage of food and beverage equipment
  • Ensure all ware washing equipment is in working order
  • Order supplies as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness in all back of the house areas including kitchens and walk-ins
  • Deliver food for banquet events and break down stations at event conclusion
  • Drive and maintain the kitchen recycling program
  • Assist the Executive Chef with special projects and initiatives
  • Monitor and enforce all hotel policies and procedures through the established human resource processes with assistance from the Executive Chef
