Job Requirements

  • no high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
  • capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to follow safety and security policies
  • ability to work full time with flexible shifts
  • willingness to complete safety training and certifications
  • physical ability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach overhead and below the knees

Job Duties

  • operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashing machine and trash compactor
  • wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
  • receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock
  • use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in 3-compartment sink to clean dishes
  • inspect, pull, stack cleaned items and send soiled items back for re-cleaning
  • rack and spray items with hot water to remove food residue
  • sort, soak, wash, and re-wash silverware
  • breakdown dirty bus tubs and maintain trashcans
  • clean and mop all assigned areas
  • dispose of glass properly and manage recyclable materials
  • follow safety policies and report maintenance or unsafe conditions
  • support team to reach common goals
  • move and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
