Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to work full-time with availability on weekends and holidays
  • ability to operate and maintain industrial dishwashing equipment
  • understanding of sanitation and safety practices in a kitchen environment
  • capability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks
  • reliable and punctual work ethic
  • ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in a similar kitchen or dishwashing role is advantageous but not required
  • ability to operate industrial dishwashing equipment
  • basic knowledge of sanitation and safety protocols
  • good physical stamina and ability to handle repetitive tasks
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • reliability and punctuality

Job Duties

  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils using industrial dishwashing equipment, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
  • assist with running food to designated areas in a timely manner
  • maintain the cleanliness and organization of kitchen and banquet areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and emptying trash receptacles
  • ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the trash room and trash compactor on a daily basis, including removing trash bags, sanitizing the trash bins, and cleaning surfaces
  • follow safety protocols and procedures when handling and disposing of kitchen waste, and cleaning chemicals
  • collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient operations and a clean working environment
  • maintain full and open availability, including weekends and holidays
