Job Requirements
- Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required by first day of work in Utah and Idaho
- ability to read and understand color coded labels and chemicals
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- physical ability to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks
- ability to operate dishwashing and housekeeping equipment safely
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes
- collect carts with patient trays from hospital floors
- clean and disinfect assigned areas including dining areas using department cleaning procedures
- use cleaning chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards
- understand procedures and properly dispose of infectious waste and trash
- operate and maintain assigned equipment such as commercial dishwasher according to established procedures
