Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a stewarding role
- Availability to work graveyard shifts
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Ability to train and supervise staff
- Good physical stamina
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience in stewarding or related hospitality roles
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of state and local health regulations
- Strong communication and training skills
- Ability to work independently during graveyard shifts
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Direct, assist, supervise and train all stewards in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in kitchen and food and beverage areas
- Manage stewarding function to ensure overall cleanliness, sanitation and compliance with health regulations
- Educate stewards on current safety and sanitation issues
- Ensure equipment is prepared and operational for the next shift
- Perform duties of steward team members in their absence or arrange suitable replacements
- Ensure disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed in a timely manner
