Job Requirements
- availability to work morning, mid, evening/night shifts, as well as weekends and holidays

- physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 80 pounds

- withstand regular environmental exposures to very cold (-32 degrees) and hot (+90 degrees) conditions and water
- proper usage and handling of various chemicals
- proper usage and handling of various kitchen machinery including dishwasher, slicers, ovens, stoves, grinders, mixers, and other related equipment
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years of previous experience in a similar role at a hotel or restaurant
- excellent time management skills
- knowledge of dishwashers and other kitchen machinery and cleaning/dish chemicals
- ability to supervise and lead a team effectively
- strong problem-solving skills
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Supervise the stewarding and dishwashing team
- read banquet event orders (BEOs), attend banquet meetings, and execute plans to ensure banquets run smoothly
- assist with dishwasher scheduling
- troubleshoot problems and issues with dish machines
- procure the necessary dishwashing chemicals and cleaning supplies
- maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, banquet spaces, and kitchen
- help create and maintain a positive work environment for employees as well as guests
- handle other duties as assigned
