Job Duties

  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools including dishwasher machines and waste compactors
  • wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
  • receive deliveries, store perishable goods correctly, and rotate stock
  • ensure clean dishware is stored in appropriate areas
  • use detergent, disinfectant, and rinse chemicals at three-compartment sinks to wash dishware
  • inspect, sort, and stack clean articles and return soiled items for re-washing
  • empty trash bins and maintain waste deposit areas
  • clean and mop assigned departmental areas
  • dispose of glass in designated containers and recycle cardboard and other materials
  • comply with safety policies, report accidents and hazards, complete safety training and certifications
  • move, lift, push, drag, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • perform physical movements including reaching overhead, bending, twisting, and stooping
  • perform other reasonable tasks requested by supervisors
