Job Requirements

  • must be detail oriented, organized, and efficient
  • possess a courteous, professional, and friendly manner
  • able to work productively with little supervision
  • open availability required
  • prepared to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • able to stand and move at least 75 percent of the time

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in a steward or dishwashing role preferred
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

  • ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures

  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and different shifts

Job Duties

  • perform routine pre-service tasks including transporting china, glassware, and silver
  • maintain adequate supply of clean dishes and utensils during service
  • sweep, clean, and de-grease kitchen floors daily
  • presoak, clean, and store all china, glassware, and silverware according to specifications
  • tear down and thoroughly clean dish-washing machine parts at end of shift
  • wash, disinfect, and store pots, pans, and fryers
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen sinks
  • retrieve, clean, and return fry pans promptly
  • perform routine cleaning tasks in kitchen including sweeping, mopping, cleaning machines, sinks, shelves, tables, dumpster area, and employee lounge
  • empty, wash, and reline trash cans
  • remove dirty towels and replenish clean linens
  • maintain banquet silver utensils storage
  • set tables and empty trash in employee lounge
  • follow all company policies and safety standards
  • report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions
  • maintain clean and safe work areas
