Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hospitality or kitchen environment preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- Willingness to learn and follow hygiene and safety procedures
- Basic understanding of sanitation standards
- Good team player with positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred
- Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and operate dishwashing machinery
- Good communication skills
- Passion for culinary experiences and Japanese cuisine
Job Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines or by hand
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently following manufacturer guidelines
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas according to established procedures
- Assist with general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and storage areas
- Ensure supplies are properly stocked and organized
