Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hospitality or kitchen environment preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
  • Willingness to learn and follow hygiene and safety procedures
  • Basic understanding of sanitation standards
  • Good team player with positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen experience in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and operate dishwashing machinery
  • Good communication skills
  • Passion for culinary experiences and Japanese cuisine

Job Duties

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines or by hand
  • Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently following manufacturer guidelines
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas according to established procedures
  • Assist with general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and storage areas
  • Ensure supplies are properly stocked and organized
