Job Requirements

  • No offshore experience required
  • One year’s customer service experience
  • Background in catering or similar
  • Must hold STCW certification
  • Must hold Skilled COC
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • Ability to use cleaning materials and chemicals safely under COSHH regulations
  • Willingness to participate in company training
  • Ability to perform physical cleaning and maintenance tasks

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year’s customer service experience
  • Background in catering, hospitality or similar environment
  • Standards of Training Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW)
  • Skilled Certificate of Competency (COC)
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written)

Job Duties

  • Work optimally and efficiently to meet service standards
  • Maintain accommodation cleanliness and sanitation
  • Clean, buffer, hover, sweep and wash floors, walls and ceilings per procedures
  • Ensure laundry meets client satisfaction and contract specifications
  • Keep chemical store clean and tidy
  • Participate in daily and weekly inspections with supervisor
  • Maintain cleanliness of all catering equipment
  • Maintain kitchen and equipment hygiene
  • Keep mess clean
  • Assist in meal preparation and serving
  • Ensure adequate supplies of cutlery and crockery
  • Ensure galley equipment availability
  • Operate pot wash area
  • Assist with unloading containers
  • Enforce deep cleaning programs
  • Report defects and maintenance needs
  • Comply with Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Report accidents and injuries
  • Report incidents like fire, loss, damage, unfit food
  • Attend training courses
  • Support Client and Company safety initiatives
