Job Qualifications

  • Previous stewarding experience desired
  • Ability to perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Must be able to communicate, read, write and understand English
  • Completes required training as scheduled
  • Ability to learn proper use of various equipment and cleaning materials
  • Must have a valid current Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment

Job Duties

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, cooking pots, and utensils
  • Help prepare and deliver plated food for banquets and events
  • Clean kitchen areas and equipment
  • Manage dish machine maintenance and sanitation
  • Operate burnishing machine to polish silverware
  • Communicate supply shortages and breakage to management
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
