Job Qualifications
- Previous stewarding experience desired
- Ability to perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Must be able to communicate, read, write and understand English
- Completes required training as scheduled
- Ability to learn proper use of various equipment and cleaning materials
- Must have a valid current Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, cooking pots, and utensils
- Help prepare and deliver plated food for banquets and events
- Clean kitchen areas and equipment
- Manage dish machine maintenance and sanitation
- Operate burnishing machine to polish silverware
- Communicate supply shortages and breakage to management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
