Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of dishwashing experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year experience as a dishwasher
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs

Job Duties

  • Use manual or mechanical methods to wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste
  • Assist kitchen staff in food preparation tasks, such as peeling and cutting vegetables or portioning ingredients
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to ensure a continuous and efficient workflow
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations and timely availability of clean dishes during peak hours
