Job Duties
- operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, and kitchen utensils
- maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area by cleaning countertops, food preparation surfaces, stovetops, ovens, coolers, freezers, and kitchen equipment
- remove stains from china and cutlery as required
- assist in receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies, including cleaning and organizing loading dock, waste containers and all trash bins from food production and service areas
- ensure all access and traffic areas are clear and clean
- ensure floors are properly mopped using hot water and cleaning solution
- adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines and abide by Alyeska Resort policies in regard to accident and incident reporting procedures
- collaborate closely with kitchen staff, chefs, servers, and other team members to maintain a smooth flow of operations
