Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to regularly perform motions such as lifting, pushing and pulling, bending
Job Qualifications
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and communicate effectively with the kitchen team
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience a plus, but not required
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware efficiently and thoroughly
- Ensure all items are properly organized and stored in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area including dish machines, floors, walls, and sinks
- Take out trash, recycling, and compost
- clean bins as needed
- Assist with basic kitchen prep or maintenance tasks as requested by the chef team
- Follow all safety and sanitation standards and comply with health department regulations
- Work as a team player to support smooth kitchen operations during and after service
- Alert management to any equipment issues or safety concerns
