Job Requirements

  • Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel
  • Ability to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently
  • Must be able to speak, understand, and communicate the primary language used in the workplace
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks
  • Adherence to safety requirements including PPE and proper use of cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to work in moderate to loud noise conditions of a busy kitchen
  • Willingness to work flexible scheduled shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in dishwashing or similar role in hospitality is beneficial
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language used in the workplace
  • Ability to follow established cleaning and safety procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task efficiently

Job Duties

  • Clean, transport, and store all pots and pans used in food and beverage operations
  • Clean, transport, and store all dining ware, silverware, and glasses
  • Oversee proper storage of all glassware and dining ware
  • Ensure all cleaning machines and equipment are in proper working order
  • Keep kitchen and food preparation areas compliant with hotel cleanliness standards
  • Follow food safety, chemical safety, and PPE protocols
  • Collaborate with co-workers and other departments as part of a team
  • Perform additional cleanliness or guest service duties as assigned by management
