Job Requirements
- Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel
- Ability to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently
- Must be able to speak, understand, and communicate the primary language used in the workplace
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks
- Adherence to safety requirements including PPE and proper use of cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work in moderate to loud noise conditions of a busy kitchen
- Willingness to work flexible scheduled shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in dishwashing or similar role in hospitality is beneficial
- Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language used in the workplace
- Ability to follow established cleaning and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task efficiently
Job Duties
- Clean, transport, and store all pots and pans used in food and beverage operations
- Clean, transport, and store all dining ware, silverware, and glasses
- Oversee proper storage of all glassware and dining ware
- Ensure all cleaning machines and equipment are in proper working order
- Keep kitchen and food preparation areas compliant with hotel cleanliness standards
- Follow food safety, chemical safety, and PPE protocols
- Collaborate with co-workers and other departments as part of a team
- Perform additional cleanliness or guest service duties as assigned by management
