Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a kitchen or food service setting preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • basic English proficiency

Job Duties

  • sweep or scrub floors
  • stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
  • stock serving stations or dining areas with food or supplies
  • prepare and package individual place settings
  • package food or supplies
  • clean or prepare various foods for cooking or serving
  • receive and store supplies
  • clean garbage cans with water or steam
  • load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies
  • transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks
  • move equipment, supplies or food to required locations
