Job Requirements
- Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain same to compliment guest experience
- ability to push or pull service carts weighing up to 600 lbs
- ability to read the English language to fully comprehend job requests, caution notices, and similarly written materials
- ability to transport heavy objects through a crowded room
- ability to grasp, lift, carry, move, or push goods on a handtruck weighing a maximum of 600 lbs
- ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates
- all employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available)

Job Duties
- Operating dishwashing machine under set operating guidelines to eliminate personal injury and breakage per SMG standards
- cleaning kitchen equipment, floors and walls as directed by the kitchen supervisor
- assisting in banquet food dish up and set-up as directed by the Executive Sous Chef and Kitchen Supervisor
- removing all kitchen waste to the proper waste receptacles
- promptly and carefully sorting soiled ware so that it can be put through the dish machine properly
- quickly washing all ware and replacing in storage area as designated
- carefully cleaning display mirrors without using abrasive materials and maintaining sanitation standards
- cleaning kettles, tilt skillets, pots and pans promptly and completely
- performing general and routine cleaning tasks using standard kitchen cleaning products as assigned by supervisor
- separating linen from other debris
- performing other duties such as moving supplies and equipment, cleaning spills, and returning food from functions to cooks
