Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours a day
- able to lift up to 30 lbs

- ability to work and maintain a clean work environment
Job Qualifications
- Ability to speak English is preferable
- previous experience in a kitchen is desirable
- must have Food Handler Certificate within 30 days of hire
Job Duties
- Arrange for all clean china, glass, silverware, and serving pieces needed as directed by the Head Chef and the Sous Chefs
- maintain general cleanliness of all kitchen areas
- removal of trash and recycling to the proper disposal area
- sweep and mop the floors in the kitchen, dish station and room service area
- assist in back dock organization and trash and waste receptacle treatment
- steam clean and/or hose out all garbage and recycle cans
- pressure wash all kitchen mats at the end of the evening shift
- comply with all sanitation, food handling, and safety requirements
- scrub pots and pans
- clean the outside docks, kitchen entry, and downstairs in the break area
- clean kitchen equipment including the stoves and hoods
- maintain the detergent in the dishwashing machine
- fill soap and hand towel dispensers daily
- prep food for the kitchen as needed
